Adobe CS3 suite no longer available?
Are the trial versions of CS3 no longer available on Adobe's website? It seems to have all transitioned to CS4 (which makes sense), but the trial versions aren't up yet for download. I'd like to try out Illustrator, but the previous CS3 trial version is gone.

Thanks Pam. I did google it, but couldn't find anything of any use. All the download links for the trial either didn't work or redirected to the new CS4 page.

Boycott Adobe. They are way over priced.

I would assume they would have the trial up as soon as CS4 was actually being shipped, and not just preordered.
A call to adobe might get some answers if you really want to dig into it.

boycott? how about u just research discounts, and other means of getting it. the programs cost is no reason to boycott. the software is a killer aplication that lets you do anything and i mean ANYTHING with a picture or graphics. don't be splashing ur boycott this or that stuff because u hate how much they charge. i hate how much gas costs can iboycott it ? sure. do i ? no, the reason? the price drops and u can always go somewhere else and find it cheaper, even get some from a friend.

Gas is different than some software. Does anyone need Adobe, no. I have no reason to use Photoshop.

i mis phrased that i meant more like go over a friends house use his not copy his stuff. i know piracy is a big issue i was just irritated with someone bad mouthing software for the wrong reasons. i know alot of school computer labs in my area to that have it installed maybe ps6 or 7
not the newest version but ether way it's usable if u ever want to try it. plus adobe launched a online app that is free or maybe it changed but the free app is almost an exact copy of photoshops full version, it's just browser based. so ether way u can use it try it with a trial, whatever. noones making u pay the price without trying it. i just meant theres other ways to use it not so much "get" it Last edited by kpa2727; 11-15-2008 at 11:05 PM. |

Photoshop is not the only good graphics software out there. It's also becoming evident that CS4 runs like a dog on 32 bit Windows.
