Office 2003 help, please
Just reinstalled Office 2003 on XPpro (I've done this many times over the years). This time, I am finding that Outlook downloads all my emails everytime I log on to the program. I am sure there is a simple box to check somewhere but I've never encountered this problem before. Anyone with expertise out there? Thanks

Do you mean all emails go into the inbox instead of separate folders?
What rules did you set up for Outlook in rules and alerts ?

pam123,
all my messages are redownloaded into the inbox. I've restarted the Outlook app at least 10 times and sent/received the same 25 messages. I've deleted all, emptied the deleted folder and when I restart OL and send/receive, those same 25 messages come back to my inbox. I've also noticed that the junk mail action does not work correctly. Messages that are to be deleted automatically keep showing up and even those message I declare as not spam are still thrown into my spam folder. |

It's a bug, unfortunately.
You'll need the Hot Fix for 2003. 2003 : http://support.microsoft.com/kb/885870 |
