gimpshop !!

Hi everyone


Is there a way with gimshop to compeletely rempove something from a photo without destroying the background ?
Say there is a picture where i'm before a beautiful landscape but there is a figure in the back i want removed and only keep the landscape behind me
Possible to do it ?

PS photoshop experts could reply too

Hi,

Forceflow is right.

Takes a bit of time to do it nicely, and sometimes you have to go right down to pixel level to get a good effect, but if the photo is important to you, it's worth it - and quite satisfying too !

BTW if you are thinking about a new picture editor, try Ulead Photoimpact - I find it much more intuitive and user-friendly than Photoshop.
