.wav name recovery.. help!!

Okay i have a big problem i just deleted a partition on accident and it was a partition with all my .wav sound files. the program i used was "recover my files" it renamed all my wave files to another name which is recovered file. is there any program that can put the names back to the original.

That sounds like a bad way of doing things in regards to the recover program you used. Most will cover the file with the original file name, less the first character. Either way, you still need to go in manually and make any changes / corrections.
