diagnostic software for a windows ce robot
I am attempting to work on a Husqvarna Auto Mower, a robotic lawn mower. The only problem is I do not know where to find any diagnostic software for this type of machine. I contacted the manufacturer but they only release their diagnostic RM software to dealers. The mower appears to have Windows CE based software as the logo is near the keypad. I was writing to ask if anyone would know of any diagnostic software I could purchase or download which will let me run diagnostics and troubleshoot. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks

Would you also need a cable to connect the mower to a pc?
Are you real experienced in reading diagnostic software? And or have the knowledge to fix what the software finds? Have you contacted repair shops? Do they charge a fee to run the diagnostic software?

Currently I don't have a cable to connect with the mower.
I have not had any experience in reading diagnostic software for Windows CE. But I have built computers and have some circuit work experience. I did find a dealers manual on the internet and it lists how to read the codes. Dealers Manual gardenresources.co.uk/content/garden_machinery/manuals/husqwm221_hwen2000_1019108-26amow.pdf I contacted one shop and they would look at it for $60.00 but said they had not worked on that brand before. So I was thinking maybe it was best to do the troubleshooing myself if I could find the right software. I just did not know if the diagnostic software for Windows CE is generic or would the dealers software be needed to troubleshoot. |

My educated guess-> The diagnostic software must be specifically written for the "chip" in the mower.
The shop that you contacted - did you tell them what was wrong with the mower? Might need to diagnose anything - clean the fule line... |

This machine being electric/battery powered has a numeric key pad which is used to start and set up functions such as an automated timer. Although the key pad makes a noise when pressed it seems the code entered does not bring about the correct machine response. So I am thinking the key pad is bad or their is a malfunction in the processor.
