Outlook auto-connect??

I've used Outlook Express for years, it was sufficient.
I just started using Outlook and like it much more.
However, in OE there is a setting to connect to the internet automatically when you execute the program.
I've looked for this option in Outlook and can't seem to find it.
Anyone know if this is possible, or do I have to first connect to the internet and manually select "send and receive all" in order to get my mail?
thanks

If you're on Dial Up for example - yes - connect to the internet - Launch Outlook and it will automatically check for mail as it loads up....Or if Outlook is already running - click the send receive button after you dial up.

my sprint/nextel works in most, if not all, areas of nh, thanx in part to nascar, so i'm sure you should be able to get broadband if your willing to pay for it that is...

i'm a season ticket holder at NHIS & travel throughout nh/maine/vermont couple times a year.

Look in Tools->Accounts..I think you might find an option to get it to dial out...Course, clicking your connection icon before loading Outlook is only one extra click.

thanks all,
yeah, it's only a couple of clicks difference...when you get old you tend to resist change...maybe it's better that I just get used to something new...
