Play game with no CD, off harddrive?
I have just purchased Halo and plan to install it to one of my laptops (The latitude C640) but it doesnt have a CD rom (though I am waiting for the plug for m writer) I want to play it now since I have the trial already downloaded on my laptop and now want to play the full version. Is there a program that will allow me to play this on my laptop without the CD? I have installed it on my other computer and the game plays from the cd and I want when i install it on my laptop I can play it without having to carry my external drive with me.

It's called a No CD crack and you can get one for your game from game copy world : http://www.gamecopyworld.com/
If you're going to be playing games regularly on your laptop it would worth buying a copy of Game Jackal from Slysoft.
