Question highlighted cursor

I honestly don't know what to call what I want to do so I will explain what I want to do and am looking for and hopefully someone out there can assist me.
I use online banking and balance my checkbook by viewing my bank statement online and when I go from line to line I would like to be able to have my cursor highlighted or one long line so I can just use my arrow keys to go up and down and view the line at a glance and not miss any checks, amounts, etc..
How can I do this in firefox? I used to be able to do it in Internet Explorer have used firefox for so long that I can't even remember how I got that to work in internet explorer I just know that in IE it was one long line that I just used my arrow keys to go up and down line by line. It is like a ruler guide with just one long line.

Can anyone assist me in obtaining this again if not in firefox then in IE as my eyes aren't what they used to be and I would prefer to be able to balance my checkbook online instead of having to print the statement out just to balance and waste paper.

Thanks for any help anyone can give me as I just need something simple to be able to use my arrow keys to go from line to line without having to double or triple click each line with my mouse or hold down any other key in conjunction with using another key.

some major banks only support IE for online banking.

try clicking on the first line to 'highlite' it & then use the arrows down/up to navigate.

Thank you for your reply that does not work it does a page scroll not line by line. At one time I did have something in IE that I could highlight or have a line guide and all I had to do was just use my arrow keys to go up or down each item line by line. When I switched to firefox I just didn't use IE anymore so lost that function but I need to have it back again and just don't know what or how to get it.

Thank you,
Darla
