favorite pc audio player?

So I'm currently using itunes but dont like the fact that you need all these plugins to play FLAC and some other type files. What do you guys say is the best audio playback player? I've heard about mediamonkey, but really want something that has a similiar look to that of itunes but can play just about any audio format thrown at it. thanks for your input!

VLC is popular.

I personally use JetAudio.

I don't know about skins, I always just use it as a tiny bar on the bottom of my screen. I believe jetaudio does have some though.

I know winamp had a lo of different skins when I used to use it.

As for transfering songs, I have no idea. I just use windows explorer. Drag and drop seems to work best for me (I don't have an ipod).

Winamp here.

VLC MP3 audio comes out sounding "splatty" if you have the volume turned up all the way within VLC (at least in 0.8x)
