need OS for new sys
hi what OS should i be using ? and why ? thanks

Vista 64 bit or wait for Windows 7 and get the 64 bit version of that one.

Up to you. I'd personally use XP 32 until Windows 7 is out and debugged.

It's more of a personal choice.
There is no problem with vista 64 sp1. As long as your hardware can handle it, and all your programs can run on it, and there are drivers, you'll be fine. I ran vista hp 64 for a long time, and was very happy. The version of windows 7 that is out, is not the official release, and will require you to delete it and then install another version.

If you want vista 64, I would get, and did get Home Premium.

coz there is many kinds of vista and am lost between them , premium ,black,ultimate , ex...
and this window 7 i just herd of it and i thought it was released .. |

Black is not legal. If you want 64 bit, you can only get it in Home Premium or Ultimate afaik. Windows 7 is still in beta, it won't be released till November.
