Outlook Express Problems
I configured my sister-in-laws Outlook Express for her ATT email. Does anyone happen to know why the log-in window keeps popping up after clicking "OK" over and over? This happens when initially going into Express and when you try to "send" a new message. Then of of course you go to cancel to get rid of the log-in window and the email doesn't get sent. Although the weirdest thing is that some test emails did work randomly here and there but most do not get sent.
thanks for any help. |

Are you certain you have it configured correctly? AT&T does not use standard SMTP and POP3 ports, and it uses SSL. If you have an antivirus with a real-time email scanner such as AVG, uninstall it and get the mail working properly first. Then you have to use a special procedure to re-integrate AVG, or you have to reinstall it WITHOUT the e-mail scanner.
