MS Excel Random Data Help

Hi All,

I have one column of Name and there are six jobs: Umpire, Ref, Clock, Score Board, LB, LB
I like to randomly pick on name out of the Name column and assign it to one of the job without duplicate. Thank you for all your inputs.

Thepoor,

Let's see if I understand.
Once you've chosen one person for a job, you don't want his name appearing again in a job list ?
Are you going to be rotating jobs or is the same person doing the same job all season?
If rotating do you intend to start a new spreadsheet each time you do so (On a weekly basis?) ?

Hi Pam123,

Yes, once the person chosen his/her name will not appear on the job list again.
The jobs are rotation and it base on weekly basis.

Thank you,

Thank you,
OK, don't make things more complicated then they need to be.

I'll get back to you with a plan, though other PCMech members may beat me to it with better solutions first.
