Quickbooks Enterprise

I have a client that runs Quickbooks Enterprise 8. The way it's set up is that quickbooks is open and running on the server, and the file is opened and set to multi-user on the server.

From there, the clients computer can open quickbooks and open their file. Now this one client computer can open it fine, and eit and do everything he has to except print.

They have a network printer (HP Laserjet 4200n), and everytime the customer tries to print, it just closes quickbooks.

The computer is running xp sp3.

I searched around, and found a little bit of information, but not much that matched this problem.

So far I have tied updating quickbooks, installing all windows updates, and then tried to delete the qbprint.qbp file from: all user/application data/ intuit/quickbooks

I then tried to go to print setup, and as soon as I hit that button, it closes the program again.

I try to print, and same result.

I tried updating the print driver after that, and no affect.

At this point, I think the next step is to reinstall quickbooks. Does that sound about right?

I believe that HP Laserjet is set as the default.

I don't want to say yes definitely, but I'm almost positive it is.

I'm sure there is a pdf creator, but I thought about trying to choose that, and then printing the pdf later.

Only problem is, as soon as I try to select print settings it closes the whole program.

Pretty much the same thing I tried with deleting the qbprint.qbp file.

It did give me an idea of seeing if there is another qbprint file somewhere. I will search for that as well.

And I am using the multiuser file, but the person said they could print from another computer, just not that one.
