Which version of Word? In most versions you should see a paste special ... and you can select paste as Unicode text (devoid of any formatting).
Destination formatting doesnt work at all because it takes up the style of Web text .. which again Microsoft decides to automatically update :P Microsoft, feels that when you copy and paste text, we are incapable of applying styles we need manually. Steve .. pasting it into the Notepad would obviously paste it as Unicode (thats what the notepad is) .. however, if you need to use the notepad effectively, you need to then recopy FROM the notepad and then paste to Word. |
