Is there a free HD recovery software? (after quick format once)

Hi,

Is there a pc HD recovery software? I had to restore my toshiba laptop, and it formatted all of the HD partitions. Since I had not yet placed any data on it, I think it still could be saved.

Here is a link to one that I have used that I have had great success with: http://www.stellarinfo.com/partition-recovery.htm There is a demo version which will tell what can be recovered before plunking down the cash. Good Luck
