Acronis True Image Question

I'm considering buying this software as I can see it has many uses. My question is if I download it from the Acronis website, will I be able to burn a back up disk of it? I realize I can buy a cd but would rather save the additional $12.95.
I'm certainly hoping that it will be compatible with Windows 7.

TIA

Carl

I would wait till you know for sure it will be W7 compatible, and having the CD is a big plus, you can boot with it.

Thank glc. That would be a good idea.
BTW, when I ran MS scan to see if Windows 7 would work with this pc, it did say that Diskkeeper would not be compatible.

I don't doubt it - you will have to get a newer version of Diskeeper, or another defragger that's compatible, or use the builtin defrag.
