4gb on Vista -- highly recommended
I upgraded my laptop from 2gb to 4gb, running Vista (32-bit, I know...). Amazing difference in overall performance and responsiveness, especially with a few browser windows open.
Definitely spend the extra money to get 4gb when you buy your next computer.
