Red face Expert help needed Re:Bluesoleil install

Hello all, cannot install Blue Soleil wi-fi software again, i installed it, then deleted it, and tried to re-install it. Got a message which i cannot fully understand from blue soleil technical saying: We’re afraid that you’ve saved the installation to a path that can’t be recognized.

And it results in that the setup.exe can’t be found.

Here we provide two solutions to install bluesoleil.

1. please download the bluesoleil installation and save it to the disk c:\ or D:\.... and then install it. If it still doesn’t work please do as followed method.

2. please access the followed path, and then click setup.exe to install it.

It’s the path: IVT_BlueSoleil_6.4.269.0\install\x86

Any help to do the above, or is their a better way????

The set-up is on the desktop within the folder, as it was when downloaded.

Thanks, GEP

Cool Re:install problem

Hello EzyStvy, i installed it, then deleted it, and tried to re-install it.

I first of all Downloaded BlueSoleil, an earlier version (by the way, i can install the older version}
Then i deleted the old version to allow A new version to Install. (I made a mistake by not doing it through the Add & Remove, so, went and removed as many entries as possible to get rid, Including a registry cleaner) Then i tried to Install the Newest/Latest version and it will not install.
NO error messages, when i double click, nothing.

Thanks, GEP

OUCH. As you've found out the hard way - NEVER delete a Windows based application.

Wouldn't hurt to try this:

Have you tried a System Restore back to a time before you installed any of the BlueSoleil software?
