virtual pc - FYI
Have been running Vista for a wile but needed to do something in XP, So I ran a virtual PC that was running XP Pro. Then I ran in to the issue of not being able to share files like I wanted. So I was thinking mmmmm. It technically a PC that's running on my network. So I got the internal IP and connect to it with remote desktop. Wala ... copy and paste, share drives.
Life is good !!!! Anyone ells do some cool stuff with VP |

You can run VMWare Viewer and install tools that let you drag and drop files to your VM. It's pretty handy and much better than Virtual PC in my opinion.

VMWare has tended to vary what features are offered in its free software, so most here have avoided it (through their paid versions are quite good).
But for free stuff...if VirtualPC doesn't do the job, we usually recommend virtualbox (especially for non-windows OSes)
