Record gameplay with snagit?
I'm using Snagit 9 but I can't get it to record in game footage. It records while I'm gaming but when I go to watch it, it only has a black screen. Does Snagit allow you to record full screen games or not?

Nevermind, I discovered that Xfire is a great program to use if you're a gamer looking to record your gameplay.
For anyone who finds this useful, here's the link to Xfire: www.xfire.com/ Note: I noticed that the videos recorded by Xfire take up a lot of space (2 minutes or so @ 30FPS is around 700 MB). I'm not sure why this is but I found that using Windows Movie Maker works, reducing the size to around 18 MB (just open the movie file and publish the movie). I hope this helps some people! |
