Java not working

Hi,

I've downloaded Java 6 update 14 and it will not work what so ever. My OS is XP SP3 and I am using IE7 all though I do have Firefox installed. I have attached an image of what the Java console is doing or more like not doing. Any ideas on how to get this to work?

If you have a list of Java updates in Add/Remove uninstall them all, along with the latest, and maybe run Windows Install Cleanup : http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301

Now use Disk Clean up to empty the Recycle Bin and to get any Temporary files.

Make sure your video drivers are up to date.

Now try again with a fresh download.

edit : If you use Fire Fox as your browser make sure all plug-ins and extensions have installed.
