Windows live mail not letting me reply/send mail.

For some reason I can't send a email or even reply to one in Windows live mail. I can fill out who it's to and the subject but it wont let me go into the message body and put any text in. It's grayed out and you don't even a blinking curser. This is a fresh install of xp if that helps any. I tried unistalling it and it didn't even do a proper one because when I installed it again all my email acounts and folders where still there. Now everytime I sign into msn I get this repeated error over and over then it throws in a diff error 1x only then back to the 1st error for about 5-6x in a row then sign's no problem.

(Back up anything you need to.)

Now make sure your XP install is updated, a trip to Microsoft downloads to make sure you're full patched and updated is in order.
Now try the install again.

That didn't help and it didn't totally get rid of it. I had to go into my application data and remove the windows live mail folder from there. I reinstalled it and it's still being stupid. It's gotta me some security settings that r stuck on stupid. I told it to NOT block links and it does not listen. It blocks all links anyway.

Are you using any security software that has a link scanner - such as AVG?
