Video Game Capture Program
Hey this is my last resort before dropping my search for a video game capture program and buying FRAPS. Does anyone know a good program that can record video while I game that's free lol! If not I'm just going to buy FRAPS but if you wanna save me $37 please be my guest because I cannot find another program to work for me.

You can try CamStudio. F8 to record, F9 to stop. I'm guessing the game will minimize when you stop, since you're prompted to save the video at that point. But, there may be settings somewhere where you may be able to save automatically.

I downloaded that and tried that however when I recorded during gameplay it only captured a blank black screen. Do you know of any others?

You might want to try Hypersnap I used it in the past I think it has video capturing capabilities or they might even make a separate program for that. Although it's not free you don't have to pay for the upgrades (I think they still have the policy) like most other software companies have.

I use FRAPS and I consider it the best and absolutely worth the money you pay for it
