Weird Outlook Express Issue
When I send emails to certain friends, I receive the following error message:
The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was '*******@gmail.com '. Subject 'Fw: WHEN YOU SHOULDN'T HYPHENATE YOUR NAME . . .', Account: 'pop-server.tampabay.rr.com', Server: 'smtp-server.tampabay.rr.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '501 5.5.2 RCPT TO syntax error', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 501, Error Number: 0x800CCC79 There's one other email address (******@tampabay.rr.com) that gives me the same error. I have sent countless emails to both parties in the past and can't figure out why this error is now happening???? |

Remove their address book entries and try sending by manually typing the address. If they go, create new entries.
