I have a general question about working with files via FTP. I am not sure if this is one the client side or the server side.
When I update my Wordpress blog i have to remove (delete) multiple folders. It forces me to go into the lowest level folder and delete all them individually. I would like to just delete the top level folders. It is far too time consuming to keep doing this. Thanks.

What you need is called "recursive delete". Check the help files for your FTP client and see if this function is supported.

Thank you. I will check to see if I have it. If I don't I think I may look at another FTP client program.
