program to delete duplicate picture files
So I have a ton of unsorted picture files, and video files with different names but the same pics or videos. Is there any program out there that can go thru and delete the duplicates even if the name of the file is different?

Are these important pictures and you'd hate to lose a few if the deletion software guessed wrong?
Out of 2000 pictures - approx how many dupes do you think you have? |

honestly i have no idea, maybe several hundred dupes at most. I'll try that program mrob, but from the looks of it, it only finds duplicates that have the same filename...maybe im wrong though.

What os are you running? If the file names are different, add time feature (for videos) to all the files and file size (for jpegs) and manually delete the duplicates.
