Gmail labels?
is there a way on your gmail account to have incoming mail already set to a certain label, rather than going through your new mail and having to select what the label would be? like a certain address? is that possible?

You could set a filter .. go to Settings > Filter and create a condition .. like a From address. Then go to the next step and have it assign a label based on your filter.
