Need alternative to Adobe Reader
I was just floored at the price of a standard copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader 9.
My wife has been using 5.0 but it is not compatible with our new Windows 7 OS. Is there an alternative, simple PDF creator for Windows 7 that any of you could recommend ? |

CutePDF allows you to use the print function in any application and get a PDF out of it.

Adobe Reader is free. An alternative is Foxit Reader.
If you mean Adobe Acrobat, then CutePDF is a free alternative, but all it will do is create a PDF from something you already have by printing to it from inside the application. Have you tried running Acrobat in compatibility mode? |

Acrobat
Thanks CutePDF worked great. Saved a lot of money.
I did try compatability mode for Acrobat 5 back to Windows 98 with no luck. Some threads indicate even Acrobat 7 did not work with Vista. Only 9 will work with Windows 7. |
