Photoshop Install

Having an issue trying to install Adobe photoshop,When I click the setup.exe file I get windows cannot open this file...search internet for program to help.The problem seems to be with manifest files which Ive never heard of.How can I get this mess straight.Iam running Xp pro sp3.

Are there any smudges or scratches on the disc?

Is there an error message?

What version?

Unhide your file extensions, what is the full file name? I bet it's setup.exe.manifest.

The setup file is setup.exe.manifest

Okay I unhid my file extensions and still get the same "windows cannot open this file"

Please list all the file names in the package you downloaded, complete with extensions.

Ive got t now,I redownloaded the trial and found the valid setup file.Thanks for your help.
