Microsoft Automated Troubleshooting Services
Has anyone ever used this Microsoft Automated Troubleshooting Services located here http://support.microsoft.com/gp/slow...ws_performance
I forgot how I found it but I never heard of it before and wondered if anyone has used and is it any good? |

I've passed on the "FIX IT" for missing cd/dvd drives and have seen several people get back up and running.
On a related deal - have you ever done the "Report This Error" function from Windows AND gotten a reply? I've gotten a few replies over the past couple years and one reply fixed my issue. |

That's a blast from the past. If I remember correctly, it removes unnecessary start-up items and checks for dual anti virus programs running.
