skype question
HI!
How do I stop my id from showing up in the drop down list in the sign-in window for skype? I want to just type it in, not have it automatically show up. Thanks for any help! |

Two possibilities.
Edit the Skype log in folder in Programs, and make sure you just get the entry don't delete the folder. Edit the registry and you'll have to google for instructions. This works with XP.

While on the Skype topic...for no reasonable reason my laptop/office PC and Skype seem to have had argument and now Skype will not connect. The actual Skype program opens when I start it but in my bottom right toolbar it shows the icon gray and reads "connecting". I have deleted the program and reloaded many times, I have fiddled with as many relevant settings as I can within Skype but no joy. I know my account is good as I Skype from my iPone now... any ideas....I have been forced to open a G mail account to video call a mate in Cape Town.
