Installation floppies to CD

Hi

I found PCMech Forums searching for the above topic, and was most impressed. My previous attempts had failed to include the disk label.

The software is Works 4 on six floppies, but Disk 2 is corrupted, and both the originals and the file created on my hard drive stop at Disk 2, saying MSworks2.CAB could not be opened, but I can open it in Windows explorer,is there a way round this.

More generally, I have just got my first MacBook Pro, Running Windows XP in Boot Camp, hence the problem.

This is suppose to be my introduction, if I am in the wrong place please re-direct me.

Moved to the Software forum.

Try running chkdsk /r on the corrupt floppy. If that doesn't fix it, there's not much you can do.
