PDF documents wont open
Hi all
for some unknown reason I can't get the PDF documents to open I only get a box with File Conversion with: select the encoding that makes your document readable with Windows (default), MS-Dos, Other encoding. This only happens when I try to open a PDF file. I have downloaded the latest Adobe PDF 9.4 version but it doesn't make any difference. Word, Excel work fine. Any help would be much appreciated. Mark I have Windows XP |

Try Foxit. Also try opening a PDF file in a different browser.

Uninstall Adobe Reader and all the other crap that it comes with and install Foxit Reader.
http://cdn01.foxitsoftware.com/pub/f..._enu_Setup.exe As always, READ each screen in the install process if you don't want to wind up with more toolbars and have your default search engine changed. |
