office products

Im trying to open a spred sheet on my laptop but it wants me to buy ms excel.

what are some other products that would work in place of excel?

Or you could create a Google mail account, send the Excel file to your email account and then use Google Docs to open the file.

There is also Excel Viewer from Microsoft.

Or look on Craig's list or Amazon for a used copy of Excel.

Wouldn't you be concerned about whether the key would work on a used copy? I guess there are less updates and maybe not the nag screen as OS might have.

Once you have a gmail account, you can upload files directly to Google Docs from your computer, no need to email them.
