Spell check in OE RS after Office 97 pro install

I have previously asked this one elsewhere but after hundreds of lookers it seems that no one knows why this has happened, or how to fix it. Current Sys basics are;
W/XP home - clean install
AMD XP-1800
Aopen AK77 Pro - no raid
1gh PC-2100DDR sdram
40G IBM 7,200rpm ATA100
etc etc
All I did was install office 97 Pro, from then on the spell checker does not work in Outlook Exp. However all other applications that use a spellchecker work fine.
I gather that the dictionary inside office has some major conflict with OE, Even Microsoft has no answer, at least they dont bother to reply.
Sure it has little effect on anything except that the spelling in my mail is sometimes not real good.
I have been advised to try to add another dictionary to office which may fix it, same deal, no one has any idea how to do that either.
So here goes again.
