Microsoft Office Professional With Publisher Version 2002
A friend recently gave me, free of charge, Microsoft Professional With Publisher Version 2002. I understand that he has uninstalled the software from his computer and it is not installed on any other computer.
An End Users License Agreement (EULA) is included. A label on the back of the package holds product keys. The package holds 3 discs. Each disc is marked "For distribution with a new PC only...." Not being a commercial enterprise, the software would be used only by myself. However, I am treasurer of a small church, so it would be used in producing church accounts. Could you please advise me whether, in terms of the EULA, it would be legal for me to download and use this software. I have emailed Microsoft for guidance but, to date, they have not responded. I thank you in anticipation of a response. |

Another gray area. Technically not a permitted use but you won't have any problems.
