I am running MS Office Ultimate 2007 and want to upgrade some of the apps to 2010. If I was to load MS Office 2010 home and student, this would offer me an upgrade to some of the main apps I want to upgrade. Would this work ?
Also, as a next step I am contemplating loading MS Outlook 2010 to get that app upgraded since this is not part of the 2010 home and student suite. Would this also work ? |

Found the answer on my own. There is a custom install choice that you can select when installing the newer version of Office that allows you to retain the older version of apps. This way the automatic uninstall of the older Office will not occur.
