How would i save antivirus and antmalware stuff?

Hi all what is the best way to save antivirus and antimailware stuff to a usb?
I would like too have it so i could just pop it in and do some scans and such.that way i would only have to have the one antivirus and such on my computer and the rest on the usb.

Also what would be some good stuff to have on here for trouble shooting and such?

thanks

I believe anti-malware software will need to be installed to a computer drive for it to be most effective. You could always put a copy of the anti-malware software on a USB stick to then be installed to a computer and then updated.

If anti-malware software is not installed, then one of its purposes of stopping anti-malware is nullified. (being proactive) ...the second purpose being the scanning for malware. (being reactive) Ideally, it's better to stop malware before it installs than to scan for it after it has installed itself. Scanning after the fact means the damage could already have occurred. Eradicating it can be very difficult as well.
