new ati driver
hi i tried reading about it at guru 3d but there are really too many to read .
is it a good driver ? did they solve the screen sleep crash thing ? thanks

The 11.1A hot fix appears to be the solution but your millage may vary.
edit : Don't complicate your life, unless you're running a work station skip the version with APP (Accelerated Parallel Processing).

thanks pam but dose the hot fix include app? i see only one version of it .
that way i cant avoid it right ? |

If you have Win 7 and a 69/68xxx graphics card then get it : AMD Catalyst
The hot fix will work with/without APP |

i only have the pc in my sig so i do have 6870 and win64 hp
i installed the hot fix after removing the previous drivers . i dont see app included or not included in the hot fix install . i dunno if its installed or not ? the ccc is still hard for me to solve all features in it so i leave it on auto . in case you mean app is activated from within ccc i just oced my cpu and ram and am caring about stability .thanks |
