Excel 2010: Difficulty Opening Files

I’m experiencing difficulty in opening Excel files quickly.

I recently downloaded from Microsoft on a trial basis Office 2010 Home and Business. In regard to this there appears to be a glitch on opening Excel files.
When I double click a file a dialog box for ‘Spybot Search and Destroy’ appears.

To open a file I have to single click it. The drop down menu displays various options.

I select ‘Open With’. Then a dialogue box appears and I select a button that corresponds to the option ‘Select the program from a list’.

Next, more options appear and I select ‘Microsoft Application Virtualisation DDE Launcher’

Finally, the file opens.

Is there anything I can do to enable me to open a file immediately by double clicking it?
