I used an earlier version of this a few times and it worked well : Easy Duplicate Finder description, File Management Downloads List By 30 Day Change | PCWorld - PCWorld

Bytessence DuplicateFinder from bytessence.com is free and it is the best one I've come across so far. I've tried numerous commercial "demo" software and bytessence did exactly what I wanted. No annoying ads or limits. 100% free. I used it to find duplicate files on my NAS box and PC and worked like a charm. Hope this helps
