pesky virtual drive wont leave system
os: win xp 64 pro sp2
well ive removed all the disk image software from my computer AFAIK... there remains a virtual cd rom drive in the E slot i have tried going to disk management in ctrl panel/admin services..the virtual drive is not listed i have tried a cmd line with a switch to delete the drive, and it said e: was an invalid paramater and i have looked at control panel/devices and i dont see anyting listed that sounds like a virtual drive one thing i thoughth of is - is there a service related to virtual drives? because i did some tweaking on the services a while back to maxx out performance any suggestions? thanks as always, fellas ![]() edit: nevermind, problem fixed for now, but ive been having a multitude of problems with virt drives so i might have to come backa nd update the thread later Last edited by powpowmeow; 03-13-2011 at 06:45 AM.
