Unique Graphics Issue. Need Assistance
Good morning everyone,
Ok here is my issue.. Iv just build a new pc and decided to explore alittle. I installed XP 32-bit (my original OS from my previous computer), XP Pro 64-bit, and Windows 7 64-bit. On my old computer since as long as i can remember iv ALWAYS had dual monitors.. I went through each OS after all were installed and began to setup dual monitors but heres the issue.. when i got to Windows 7 my 2nd graphics card didnt show up ! Iv done everything.. scowled the internet night and day.. installed/reinstalled/uninstalled/installed the drivers (old and new), unplugged it/replugged it numerous times, everything.. What will work is when I take out my other graphics card the one having issues will work. What makes this issue so weird is that all signs point to dual monitors.. Iv checked device manager and the graphics card DOES SHOW UP as installed, working properly, in the correct PCI port, and with up to date drivers.. My graphics cards are 1: GeForce 8400 GS 2: Mystikal (or something like that). Windows always seems to install the drivers for this card automatically with no problems. It seems to be the GeForce one.. If anymore information is needed let me know Any input will be highly valued. Thanks

In Win7 and Vista, you have to be running the same chipset on both graphics cards or the secondary one will be disabled.
