YouTube Clips: Picture Freezing
When I download and watch YouTube clips, although the dialogue is continuous the picture freezes for a fraction of a second every few seconds.
Can anyone advise me on how to iron out this glitch. |

What file format did you save them in?

Thanks for responding, Nuclear Krusader.
When I save a video clip to 'Favourites', I click on to ‘Add To’, and then click on to ‘Favourites’. The clip is then saved. The file format is not displayed. However, when I go to the top of the window and click onto 'File' and then click onto ‘Save page As’, the file format shown is ‘.htm’. Is this what you want to know? For your further information, this fault occurs when using Firefox, IE and Chrome. Also the web address of one of the video clips in question is as follows: YouTube - C'mon Everybody/Somethin' Else |

Er, that's not really saving anything. Bookmarking just creates a shortcut file that tells the browser where to go to find a particular web page; and if you do the 'Save as' thing you just save the html page but not the embedded elements or the CSS formatting. Videos are embedded into pages and you can't download them to your computer that way.
Anyway, I checked your link and I did get the hiccups as well. This seems related to the video itself, has nothing to do with your Internet connexion or machine or browser. I was watching some videos earlier and they played fine. After checking yours out and experiencing the problem I watched this one and it played fine. Does it play fine for you as well? If it does, then, as I said, the problem is with the video itself and there's nothing you can do. |
