Vlc

I could use some help here. I down load bittorrent movies and then try to watch them with vlc, but all I get is sound and no movie. Am I doing something wrong or is it vlc??

rename vlc.exe to vlc2.exe
Search vlc.exe from your computer (use Windows search if you don't know where it is), right click the file and select rename. try that, let us know.

Are you using Vista?

What are the file extensions of these movies? Will they play in a different media player such as WMP?

Unhide your file extensions in folder options.

preferences>video>output module, first check advanced options and then change the module to opengl
