Desktop Authority Group Policy issue

Hi all,

We were using desk top authority to take care of our mappings and group policy at the school district. Well, in an attempt to save money they have decided to stop using desktop authority and go with manually implementing GP through server 2008R2 however any GP's that they try to push through do not take effect and it seems that all of the client PC's seem to still have GP from desktop authority controlling them even though we have shutdown that service from the server.

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with Desktop Authority and may have removed it from their environment and what they may have done to successfully do so. If you have any ideas on how we can get our gp to take effect and how to flush out the Desktop Authority version please let me know.

Thanks in advance
