Doesn't he have the CD that came with the printer? Did you get the driver directly from LEXMARK.COM?
Adobe Reader doesn't have anything to do with this. Scan to PDF is handled by the software that comes with the printer. |

I got the driver from another website I think it was softpedia so I may have to try looking again, also when I was reformatting his PC I seen the disc and asked him about the printer as he had problem's with it when he got this printer he had an XP machine and the driver disc olny support's up to XP,on the disc it said it was a 7300 Series printer,I have not seen the printer to get the propper model number but I'm going to be taking a look at it and may end up just calling Lexmark, also now that I think of it I did get a driver off the Lexmark site and it said it was for a X7350 Printer and when I downloaded the driver it said cjs7300en,when I gave him the driver to install he said the PDF's were turning out to big and I asked him if the driver went in ok and if it said it was the wrong driver for the printer and he no,I find it strange that the disc he had said Lexmark 7300 Series and the driver's I got from Softpedia and Lexmark also said cjs7300.

All your friend's files are photos and he needs to change the size so they can be emailed?
Where they part of a word file initially (PDF. Printable document format.) ? A general set instructions for changing photos to email size in Adobe is here : All About Digital Photos - Changing the size of a digital photo

These are File's that he has scanned into his PC they go into his Documents and show up as a PDF.These are file's that he often writes out by hand or one that someone has given him and he takes them and scan's them into his PC with his scanner.
