MS Outlook 2K7 (XPSP3) Won't open attachments, unless you hit Fwd ***?

I have a user running Windows XP SP3 Pro and Office 2K7.

She is our office manager, and as such has to print out numerous email attachments daily...spreadsheets, word doc's, PDF's, Etc...

A few days ago...outlook stopped letting her open or preview attachments.

HOWEVER, if she hit's Forward she can then click on the attachment and it opens JUST FINE!!! (***?)

I've tried the Level 1 Remove trick...no dice.

I've done a detect and repair of the outlook database...nope!

I've deleted the temp file folder, as well as creating a new temp file folder that outlook stores the attachments in.

Nope, nope and nope...still won't work properly.

I'm hoping you folks have some suggestions to this problem.

She is a sweet lady as well as one of my friends at work and this is driving her bonkers!
