Excel to CSV issues
Hi Guys,
I have an issue when saving from xlsx to csv format. I have column with numbers like 11-12 or 07-08. When I am saving over to CSV, it is taken as 12-Nov or 08-Jul and so on. Any idea how to ensure it will stick as 11-12 or 07-08. thanks VJ |

If the excel spreadsheet is displaying the 11-12 or 07-08 format, then you can try this:
Select the column, right click > cell format. Select the "text" category.

Hi,
THanks for the reply. Somehow it did not work. I have figured it out by adding a single-quote (') before the number. When I save it to CSV it is sticking. thanks |
