MIcrosoft having problems w/Microsoft

Okay, this is really stupid, but here's the scenarario:

I couldnt print form the web. I could print from everywhere else but not from the web. I was gettiing script errors when trying to print. I tried multiple different things. I uninstalled the printer twice, disabled all browser add ons, reset IE, formatted( I needed to anyway). Nothing seemed to stop me from geting tthose script errors. I finally came across the fix by chance.

I was using 64 bit IE. Apparently 64bit IE has a problem with Wiin 7 64 bit. I clicked on 32 bit IE and problem solved. Microsoft suggests using Firefox or Google Chrome with Win 7 64bit. tthhbbbbttt

Ya think if your putting out new software it should work with your own OS?

Strange. I have not run into that. It works fine in Vista 64bit. Now I am wondering about all the builds I have done. Have not had any calls on it.

That's because when loading Windows 7 the default browser is 32 bit IE.

Silly me, picked up that I wasn't using the 64 bit browser and started using it. Never did I suspect it was my problem when trying to print from the web. I actually forgot I was using the 64 bit version.

I had to manually place an icon on the task bar for it. I right clicked on the actual executable file application (for 64 bit IE)to add the shortcut to my task bar. Now I know, 'Why Not?' It actually worked fine...except for printing.

Thinking about it, actaully it was the reload that helped me figure it out. When I loaded my printer I checked web printing and it worked. After I enhanced my OS and set up all the features I wanted, I tried printing from the web and couldn't! I was mad, confused, and down right flabbergasted. That's when I said 'well let's try 32 bit IE and see what happens.' A little reseach revealed the Firefox suggestion.
